Perhaps the best description of Charlie Artmann is to say he is a “lifetime learner.” Charlie started kindergarten when he was four years old and he hasn’t missed a semester of school since that time. Charlie earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration to form the backbone of his learning. But Charlie has also added three additional Masters degrees in Arts, Agriculture, and Divinity.
Such widespread areas of learning have been a great help in Charlie’s work in wealth management and investment planning. “To be trained in so many areas helps keep me from getting in a rut in my thinking,” Charlie says. “It is not unusual for me to hear someone comment that they have never heard a perspective that I shared.”
For over twenty-five years Charlie has worked for clients including professional athletes, heads of business, heads of academic institutions, as well as those who work in more broad areas. “I truly believe that my diverse training and diverse client base keeps me sharp to engage people where they are and to avoid the trap of lumping individuals into groups,” he adds.
Charlie has also earned the following professional designations, Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter.
Away from work Charlie officiates college and high school football. He also grows over 15 different kinds of fruit in his yard. Charlie is married with two children. Charlie has been the Board of Trustees Chairman of a Seminary and he enjoys teaching Sunday School in his local church.
